白内障の手術をしました

左目が霞んで見えるようになりました。
もしや、白内障かと思い眼科に行きましたら
やはり、白内障と診断されました。
手術とは、肉眼のレンズを削除して、人工レンズを入れるとの事、
人口レンズでは遠近の調節が出来なくなるのでは無いかと心配しましたが、
医者に言わせると、人間は年をとると肉眼も遠近の調節は出来なくなるのですという。
そして、免許証の更新は何時ですかときかれました。
何故かと聞くと、術後3～4ヶ月経たないと視力が落ち着かないからと説明を受ける。
小生、今年7月14日が誕生日で後期高齢者となって、
"落ち葉マーク”を付けなくてはならなくなるし、免許の更新年でもある。
手術を決断しました。
術後今日で2週間経ちますが、結果は大成功！
非常に良く見えるようになりました。色も鮮やかに見えるようになりました。
不思議な事は、パソコンも新聞も老眼鏡なしで見えるようになった事です。
しかし、老眼鏡をかけた方が大きく見えますので、小さい字を見るときは使います。
目出度し、目出度し・・・・・

お久しぶりです。　白内障の手術は進歩していますね。昨年91才の義父も両目の白内障手術をいたしました。　私も付き添い、お医者さんの説明を受けました。　入院が必要だった10数年前の母の白内障手術に比べ、片方ずつ日帰り手術で、結果もよく、ゴルフのボールの行方が見えるようになったと喜んでいます。90才代の手術は珍しいそうです。私はアラカン(Around Kanreki)で、若いとき遠視気味で良く見えたため、かえって早くに老眼になり、進行も早く、また軽い白内障もありますが、熊谷さんや義父の術後体験を伺い、将来視野が広がるのではと期待しております。免許更新に間に合われよろしかったですね。	下北沢の由美子 2009/03/11 10:01
